Undead Johnny - Chad Byers
Chad came up with the idea for the World of the Weird Monster Show way back in 2004 after a run in with Captain Kirk himself, William Shatner. Later that same year, on Halloween night, the show premiered and he hasn't looked back since. (Except during moments of deep introspection when he thinks, "What the hell am I doing?")
Chad is heavily influenced by the hosts he watched during his childhood: Son of Svengoolie, Uncle Don's Terror Theatre, Elvira, Commander USA and Joe Bob Briggs as well as shows like SCTV, Night Flight and pretty much everything that was on TV during the 80's.
As producer and head writer of WOWMS, Chad has written the majority of the show's 75+ episodes himself, but would be nothing if it wasn't for the suckers...strike that....friends, he's been able to get to join in with him on his Monster Kid crusade. And that includes all of you out there who have watched for all these years!
The WOWMS has allowed Chad to appear at Haunted Houses and conventions, share an on-screen fight with the Man, Tom Atkins, meet countless horror icons and basically just be a nerd 24 hours a day....and he loves that!

Jeff Maher was the class instructor at Comcast when Chad Byers arrived to become certified to be a Public Access Producer. Upon seeing a Happy Halloween banner hanging (in August) amongst several horror movie posters in Jeff's office, Chad knew that getting his show off the ground in such a place would not be a problem. And so began Jeff's vocation as a member of the World of the Weird Monster Show. After starting off primarily as a technical consultant, camera operator and an occasional extra role, he soon began assisting with the producing of the show and made his directorial debut with Episode 2.13: "Zontar, The Thing From Venus" where he also starred as Zontar, a role he has reprised several times. While Jeff has been editing a segment here and there over the years, his first full episode was Episode 6.3: "Night of the Living Dead: Reanimated." Working on The World of the Weird Monster Show has led to some exciting side projects, most notably the Flashback Weekend and Cyphan convention TV spots.
